On your next trip try my campfire grilled beef fajitas recipe. In my outdoor cooking set, you won’t find a cast-iron skillet without a lid. This is perfect for sauteeing the vegetables for the beef fajitas recipe. Without it, you’d be unable to cook with an open flame. Some of the food is cooked directly on the grill grate, over an open flame! As the steak sears over the fire. In a cast-iron pan placed over the grill grate, the veggies are sautéed.

As part of my usual prep work, I slice all of the vegetables (except the avocado) and cheese, and then I put them in ziploc bags. The marinade ingredients are whisked together in a separate covered dish. Just marinade the meat the night before and cook it over an open flame when you get there.

I also prepare this campfire grilled beef fajitas recipe at home whenever flank steak is on sale since I enjoy it so much.
