A sirloin tip roast is used for these kabobs. Although this cut of beef is less expensive, it does require a 24-hour marinade to achieve tender kabobs.

Campfire BBQ Beef Kabob Recipe Prep at Home Instructions
Preparing some of your food at home before you go camping will save you a lot of time and effort when you’re cooking on the go.
The marinade must begin at least one day prior to cooking, as I indicated earlier.
My favorite way to prepare the campfire BBQ beef kabob recipefor a camping trip is to start marinating it the night before. After putting it in the fridge the night before, I cook it up on the first night of our camping vacation.
I also prefer to mince my onions and peppers before using them in this recipe. When I’m camping, I keep them in Stasher bags in the cooler so I won’t have to use a knife or cutting board.
FAQ For the Campfire BBQ Beef Kabob Recipe
Can you make kabobs the day before?
Directions for Making Ahead: Marinate the beef and chop the veggies at least one to three days before you need them. The beef can be marinated for a maximum of six hours in advance. Beef kebabs can also be cooked in the oven or on a stovetop grill pan if you don’t happen to have access to a grill.
Should you pre cook vegetables for kabobs?
Before grilling, partially prepare vegetables like potatoes or cauliflower that require longer to cook. Boil the vegetables in salted water until they are crisp-tender, then set them aside to chill in an ice bath. After it’s cooled, pat it dry and then throw it in the marinade.
Do you put oil on kabobs before grilling?
Instead of marinating, just sprinkle salt and pepper on the meat, shrimp, or vegetables, and drizzle with olive oil. To keep the beef from spinning while you cook them on kabobs, it’s best to use two skewers side by side.
