Place a grate 12 inches above your campfire embers.
Set out two pieces of aluminum foil that are big enough to hold half of the ingredients. In the middle of each piece, put a pork chop. Serve each pork chop with half of the sweet potato, one slice of onion, and half of an apple. Each package should be folded up and sealed.
If you poke a potato with a fork, it should be soft after 45 minutes in a hot oven. When baking pork chops, don't open the packages. This will let the steam escape, which will dry out the chops. Also, be careful when you open it because the steam can burn you.
